Doggo Balm for dry snout and puppy scars.
Our 3 puppies Moose, Laverne and Shirley and Moose are so active. They love getting to run the 3 acre farm doing their doggo chores... barking, chasing lizards and rabbits.Â
The ownership for these beautiful pups comes with a lot of work and a lot of care.
Today I'm dealing with two issues, the first being Shirley who is running around with a very dry snout and Moose with a little 1 inch cut on the top of his head. So I thought I'd share how I use Doggo Balm.
I gave all three of our pups a wash. To this day I still can't believe how much all three hate being washed. I've given them baths since they were 10 lbs. each. Anyways, I digress. I got little Shirley sun dried then I gave her one of their favorite treats. Wait for it, wait for it... plain old carrots.  I applied a pea sized amount of Doggo Balm on her dry snout and viola... a beautiful, rehydrated little doggie snout.  One puppy down and next one to go.
So for Moose's head... I let the wound heal for two days, it scabbed nicely and on the third day I applied a pea sized amount of Doggo Balm to his head. I'm going to do this twice a day for a few more days. I'll take a follow up photo soon.
We don't make claims at Apis, so I can't say for sure how this little wound will turn out. I do know that with love and the extra care he is getting for this little wound his skin and fur will have the best chance of recovery. Â
